Intelligent Operating System (iQ)
The Intelligent Operating System (iQ) provides seamless access to real-time performance data for your extraction system. It features a range of performance improvements, including enhanced extraction efficiency, individual filter status tracking, and integrated design elements aimed at minimizing ownership costs.
HEPA filter
Our HEPA filters are engineered to capture 99.995% of particles at 0.3 microns, acting as a secondary filter to eliminate fine particulates.
Advanced carbon filters
BOFA's advanced carbon filters are designed to effectively trap contaminants and odors, reducing the likelihood of bypass and tunneling. They utilize specific carbon types tailored to meet the needs of various industries.
Reverse flow air technology
The reverse flow air technology decreases air velocity and alters airflow direction, allowing larger particles to settle into the filter’s drop-out chamber. This reduces the amount of particulate entering the filter media, significantly improving filter capture efficiency and prolonging filter life.
Automatic flow control
With automatic flow control, users can set the optimal airflow rates for their specific applications, ensuring consistent airflow. This feature helps lower noise levels and protects the more expensive HEPA filters.
Multi-voltage sensing
Automatically senses the local voltage and adjusts accordingly.
System OK signal (optional)

Remote stop/start signal (optional)
The optional remote stop/start signal ensures that your Donaldson BOFA fume extraction system operates only when your machine is active, helping to reduce both operational costs and energy usage.
VOC sensor (optional)
Our VOC (volatile organic compound) sensor continuously monitors exhaust air quality and alerts you if VOC levels exceed the set threshold, preventing the release of harmful VOCs and unpleasant odors.
